Privacy Policy

The short version

Converger does not collect, sell or share any personal data. It has no account, no advertising and no analytics, and we run no server. Your progress and your answers stay on your iPad, and the companion runs on your iPad too.

What the app uses

Converger teaches maths and physics. It has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics, and it contains no third-party tracking code. What it keeps, it keeps on your iPad:

  • Your progress. The lessons and steps you have finished, your answers, your review schedule and your settings are stored on your iPad only. They are not sent to us. We do not run a server.
  • Your scratch pad. What you write with Apple Pencil on a problem is scratch paper: it is not saved, and it never leaves your iPad.

The companion

The companion's explanations come from Apple Intelligence running on your iPad. Your questions, the step you are on and your attempts are given to the model on the device to answer you; they are not sent to us or to anyone else.

Who receives data

No one. We do not sell or share personal data, and we cannot identify you: we never receive your progress, your answers or your questions.

What we keep

Nothing. We operate no servers and have no copy of your data. Deleting the app deletes everything it keeps on your iPad.

Purchases

Converger Pro is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the app only whether Pro is unlocked; we receive no payment details, no Apple Account information and no purchase history, and we run no server that could.

Widgets

The Home Screen widget reads a summary of your progress that the app saves in storage shared only with its own widget. It does not contact any server.

Children

Converger collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this ever changes, for example to sync your progress through your own iCloud, this page will say so before the update ships, and the date at the top of this page changes with it.
