Yes. Tally has no accounts and no servers of ours, and it makes no network calls of its own — everything you enter is stored only on your device. The one exception is buying or restoring Tally Pro, which goes through Apple's App Store like any other purchase and never involves your financial data. See the full Privacy Policy for the details.
Go to Settings → Export to generate a full JSON backup or per-category CSV files, which you can save or share however you like via the share sheet. There's no automatic cloud sync — this export is the way to keep a copy outside your device.
Go to Settings → "Require Face ID" (the label matches whatever biometry your device has enrolled) and turn it on. It's off by default. If your device has no biometry or passcode set up, this toggle stays disabled with an explanation.
The AI analysis uses Apple Intelligence, which requires a supported device, iOS version, and language, with Apple Intelligence turned on in system Settings and its model downloaded. If any of that isn't ready yet, Tally shows the reason in place of the analysis — everything else in the app (including a plain-language summary of your finances) works regardless.
Not currently — data stays local to the device it's entered on, by design. If you want the same data on another device, export it and import the numbers manually for now.
Settings → "Erase all data." This is immediate and cannot be undone, so export a backup first if you might want the numbers again.
English and Spanish, including the on-device AI narration.
